Has anyone tried this? It's the new 'google your name' craze that will help you spend 15 seconds of your life in a totally wasteful endeavour!

You type your name into wikipedia and see what wikipedia chooses as the most relevant entries for your name. Some of the wiki entries returned can be a bit odd.

Entries for my name include: (bit worried that Fair City is considered relevant  )

I also get "List of important publications in sociology" which excited me briefly as I did my undergrad in sociology - sadly none of my work has been published unknown to me.

The number one choice for me was: The Irish Naval Service - 100%. I think that's because a navy ship is called my first name. The second was Tir Na nOg - 99%. I wonder if you can guess my name!

My boards name comes up with list of punjabi films 100% and Harbhajan Mann - whoever he/she is!

    This was fun!

    Grainne, eh? ;)

Mine goes directly to a page on a person with the same name. I'd rather not say who. Its a household name in Ireland and the UK.

Do you use quotes or not?

If I use quotes then the first link is to something that lists something I wrote in the "External Links" section, and the second references someone with the same name as me who I've encountered before (after receiving mail intended for him).
