    Did ye see this bit
Broadband availability is increasing, but gaps
remain and sometimes not just in rural Ireland.
Despite a Dublin city centre location, and
sharing the same street as the
    Department of Communications,
    Energy and Natural Resources,
    AMAS has been turned down
    again for a DSL connection.

    Lovely .

AMAS's office seems to be about 900m from the eircom "exchange".

One wonders how many other companies can't get DSL in Ireland's city/town centre locations?

Eircom - what an incompetent shower of rip-off merchants!
