ClearWire ADSL router?

    Hi

    Could you tell me if my ADSL router (which i'm using for UTV internet now) will work with Clear Wire modem?

    i doubt it

    usually for those, you need an ethernet router

    generally, DSL modems will only work on DSL connections

    No it is no use.
    You need what Argos sell as a Cable Router (nothing to do with cable). Komplett.ie also sell ethernet WAN routers.

    Anything with RJ11 ADSL socket (modem) built in won't work.

    You can use your aDSL router as a multi port switch [turn off NAT, DHCP Server etc] but it won't protect you from internet attacks.

    @IrishTLR.
    But only one PC will get a Internet connection, usually the 1st one connected. The ADSL router can only be sensibly used as a switch and WiFi point if you already have an ethernet WAN router.
