    dont know about you but the point i was trying to make was - how can the team points be properly validated if the dealer does not know what to do with the players cards....!

    Wes same thing happened at a couple of tables i was at. Even when i got knocked out. I know exactly what position i got knocked out so i just want to see if thats whats recorded.

    I've weary handing over €630 for out team when no-one knows what happens. I think there were 41 teams so thats €1230 reg collected. Surely some of that could have been used to help oversee the event?

    Tony be reasonable, give them a break they did their best. That 1230 was needed to cover costs - it was run at a loss dont you know?

    I've no idea if you are being sarcastic or not Noel...

    I was fully behind Stephen for this event and think they tried their best to run it the best they could. My concern over the team event is that there was no results, points, positions etc released during the event or after the event.

    Almost a quarter of the players in the event were involved in the team event and it would have been nice to know what was going on during it.

    I just feel that no effort was put into the team event as the vast majority of the dealers hadnt even got a clue what to do when someone was knocked out. It would have taken a whole 30 seconds to tell dealers to take the card and either right down a time or position a player was knocked out or call for the floor.

    team rules stated that all team player cards should be displayed at the start
    and at all times otherwise points will be deducted............
    well the team pokerheaven captain never got his out until the 2nd level.....
    don't wanna stir things up but..................it's up to the dealers? lol

    Why were players asking what they should have done with the cards? they should have listened to stephen. I told my team the rules as well as him though, in case they didn't hear or forgot. When the tickets were handed out, I was told what to do when knocked out also. Dealers should have known to be fair.

    Also, I did have my card out at the first level...

    Hi Guys,

    Really sorry about the delay with this....Just in the door from Italy now....

    I meant to leave this list with Derek but it ended up in my house so apologies....
    As regards dealers not knowing what to do with team cards every single one of the staff were instructed as to what was going on.

    ....I know you are all aware of our problems as regards being short staffed but we had two people individually looking after the team event at the front desk (Patricia Mc Lean and Bernadette Whelan) and all the floor staff were handing cards straight up to Pamela and myself.

    Results were as follows;
    29 teams entered and paid in full, so total of €8,700 prize-pool;

    1st €4,500 - Team PokerHeaven - 4,500 points (before Nicky O'Donnell was knocked out so the end total was actually slightly different).

    2nd €3,000 - Last Minute.com - 4,064 points.

    3rd €1,200 - JPPoker.ie - 3,619 points.

    4th BadCawl - 3,552
    5th HatedaJacks - 3,479
    6th Seigneurs - 3,379

    Boardsies honourable mention list;

    Nicky Power ended up with 3,023 points.
    Spoofingjam - 3,291.
    Flushdraw - 3,008.

    If any team captains want to double check player finishing positions feel free to email me. stephen@pokerireland.ie

    Not at all Tony, I know we have messed up a little with regards to the follow up to the tournament etc (I just had to take a holiday away from anything to do with poker - 3 different nights my girlfriend said I woke her up shouting things like "Ok go to table 124 and break them" ) but you were in safe hands all along. :)

    At least you didnt wake her up shouting "Laura" or "Pamela". Now that would have been a lot harder to explain haha!

    I assume that is the 4 100k tournies each and not some random extra bonus? :-)

    Yeah that was the idea originally but most players would prefer to use the 436 at they see fit, i.e. in cash games, to play the 100k each Sunday or whatever.

    Thats a bit unfair now Tony.
