Anybody playing this? Ive played a demo a bit in a friends house and its the reason im buying an xbox.. I think it totally take the thps series out of it and its going to be very popular..

Yeah its very fun and really chalenging, although i hear some goals are a little to demanding in the full game.

that what I like most im so bad at it, makes it very realistic even though some stuff in its a bit like yea.. not realistic! but still its better than tony hawks and I hear(hear) that there already planning a second skate game

No its gone, but I think my friend said something about pretending your american signing up or somethign you get it.. but I dont know as I dont have an xbox... yet lol game should be out friday I think

Looking foward to trying this. Tony Hawks is great and all, but the formula has got old after part 4 - which was like five years ago - and the THUG games really were dreadful. Haven't played Project 8 though. A new skating experience will certainly be worth a try

Disapointed the demo isnt up on Live - definitely wanted a go before spending any money. Looking like a rent for me at the moment, see if it is going to be worth the buy. Unfortunately, there is alot more upcoming games which seem like they might be worth the money too, so we shall see.

TH egame seems great to me, but I don't really get why they didnt allow you to control ollieing onto a rail, I mean like rotating the board for a noseslide etc. But its still cool that you can balance once youre on rail. THe camera angles look pretty cool too.

The demo is on the US marketplace and is worth it! Really great and fresh take on the skating genre. It's a definite purchase for me!

How do I download this I cant find it on the market place? Do I need to register or something?

You need to set up a US account. Meaning you'll have to register a US address with a valid post code. Use the old reliable 90210!

Conflicting release dates, Play.com had it down for the 12th and GAME have it for the 28th September.

It's the 28th, I was in work earlier and checked the release book. Play are prolly confused with the PS3 version which comes out the 12th of October.
