Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got a nice new dell D830 in the last 2 weeks from work.
    Nice 1920x1200 resolution :D

I'm concerned though with looking after the battery in this as I did not look after the battery that well on the old one.

My new current machine goes to sleep at the moment at about 7 or 8% I think. I have been turning it on again each time and letting the battery die down to 1 or 2% before plugging it in. Is this necessary though?

I haven't rooted into the settings really...I suppose I could set it to only hibernate at 1 or 2%.

Could it be a good idea to go into the BIOS and wait till the machine dies completely before plugging it in?

    Thanks.
