Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In windows vista, I cannot access my control panel at all. Everything has disappeared. I can't get onto the contronal panel from the desktop to change background settings even.

    Can anybody help please?

You can view the control panel as just a special windows explorer that contains .cpl (control panel) files. It used to be that if one cpl file was damaged, the control panel would open. Don't know if this is still the case in Vista but it's worth trying.
If you copy the cpl files out from their containing directory to a different directory and then copy them back one by one, opening the control panel after each copy to make sure it works, that should identify the problem cpl file.
