Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As the title states would you like him as your next manager......
Yes i know he is arrogant ,big-headed, his style of management and the type of football he insists on playing is not for everyone but the man is a winner .....

I am a MAN UTD and if I was to see the following

The Sun 5/5/ 2010 back page headline

MOURINHO TAKES OVER FROM RETIRING FERGIE

I just do not know how I would really feel

I'd be delighted to see him come to United after Fergie. When Fergie goes i can see United go through a period of 2-3 managers in about 2 years. If they were to get a world class manager like Mourinho in straight away it would be great and not go through the same chaos they went through trying to replace schmeichel.

No - The man has no class about him.

    United fan and no.

I do like Mourinho's appraoch to management - very hands on in all aspects of the club, like fergie. In this regard, he is very much in the Fergie way - and for that i think he would be a good appointment. The running of the footballing aspects of the club would still be focused by the manager.

However, his style of play is not something I want to see at United, and he has little class, as evidenced by his tirade about Ronaldo being poor.

I'd love to see him go to another premiership club and prove that he is a good manager without having to spend millions, someone like Spurs (they seem to be the most likely to have an interest in appointing him as manager)

Whether you love him or hate him you have to agree that he is a great character, I always love watching his inerviews especially after a controversial game

I wouldnt say no (United fan) if nobody else was standing out as an obvious post Fergie candidate. He wouldnt be my number 1 choice though. But Id rather he came in and was as success than someone else coming in and failing.

Paul Cook has the team going in the right direction and playing good football so I'd have to say No.

Yes for Spurs, but I don't think he would work under a director of football setup, might happen as his family are settled in London, kids in school etc and if he wanted to piss of Chelscum then Spurs would be the team he could turn into a top 4 side to challange the Arse and chelscum!
