looking for a good HDD/DVD/VHS Combo Recorder ??

    i'm looking to record from tv,and transfer from vhs to dvd.
    can anyone recommend a good one? (looking for about 160G)
    also where to buy here in ireland (dublin).

    looking around online the Sony hx750 and the Toshiba RDXV45 look pretty decent.
    anyone any thoughts?tnx

    the sony hx750 is not a vhs recorder as well. it is only dvd and hdd. you can of course connect a vhs machine up to it and record vhs to dvd/hdd that way. sony only combi is the rdr-vx450 but that doesnt have a hard drive.

    the only other one i can think of at the moment is the Panasonic dmr-ex95 which is about €699. it has a 250gb hdd with dvd & vhs. only disadvantage is that it has no analogue tuner. so you could only record from a digital source (sky, ntl digital etc)
