Was a lovely clear and frosty morning today so went out for a walk.

Here's a few of the many pictures I took.

All along the roadside blackberries are there for the picking, some though are a bit more difficult to get at due to thorns.

The trees are starting turn yellow now, some amazing shades of light.

Even though there's a distinct nip in the air, there is still a lot of lovely green in the countryside.

Looking north-east the Sugarloaf is just about visible on the horizon. Some of the trees are visibly starting to change colour.

[edit] they are indeed blackberries not currants as pointed out to me..don't know what I was thinking![/edit]

Great shots, I spent most of the morning raking the leaves in my back garden. :)

Every Autumn I think I'll get some nice pix and always never do. A proper camera would help admitedly. Hopefully we won't have too mnay big storms in the next 4 weeks as the best colours are in mid-late October.

    Mike.

gurramox, i'm sure your snaps are loverly, unfortunately my poor dialup canne take it it no more!(I had to block them in my browser to load up this post), also horizontal scroll bars are the spawn of the devil! (most people still use 1024 x 768 resolution). Any chance you could resize them a bit as per the charter?

    Thanks.
