Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Posting this for my gf.

Last Tuesday she lost all signal on her phone, nothing to do with the network worked and the other ones where restricted.

She called Vodafone to see what was up and was told thay she had requested to be ported to meteor! No such thing was requested. Until today she has not been ported back to vodafone.

Has she a right to seek compensation from the provider or should she make a complaint somewhere? Obviously she's not happy to be able to make/receive call for nearly a week now

    Jozi

not sure about right to compensation, but i would definitely try and get some contact details in voda high up, and make a complaint alright. ive ported from vodafone to meteor, back to vodafone, then to three where i am now. when i rang, they finish the call and ing you on the mobile to prove its yours and you want to port.... obviously your gf didnt get this call so its someone at vodafone entering the wrong number, or not following the procedure to check if she owned the phone and wanted to port.

its most likely human error,a meteor or carphone warehouse dealer may have just entered in a wrong digit or gotten a number mixed up,seen it happen before, its easily fixed just port the number back ,i would ask for some credit though most networks would accomodate this for the inconvenience
