Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

FGS stupid PC getting corupt file

    I'm not sure why but this file seems to go corrupt sometimes, it's called \windows\system32\config\system and then i have to get my XP disc out and try find out what's up but this time ive gone and done something strange and it's installing XP again and won't let me go back to my normal log in screen, so now I'm pretty sad cause i think ive lost all of my photo's music etc. -.- hopefully they will still be on the HD, i knew i should buy an external HD =[

    i find that file goes corrupt on pcs with faulty ram, you can test your memory with ultimate boot cd, google it


    all your old stuff will still be in the c:\"documents and settings" folder

    you will find afew folders in there and might have trouble accessing them, but post back how ya get on, for more help

    XP does allow you to do a repair install which only reinstalls windows, unless you actually selected the option to format the disk you should be okay.
