Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's now September and there have been a couple of quality releases this year but IMO this brilliant track stands out head and shoulders above them all, officially the biggest tune in Ibiza this summer and probably the biggest tune of the year,it's been remixed several times and the remixes from what ive heard are very good but the original is still the best, this is innovating and fresh,so different from the majority of house music out there right now, old skool breakbeats and piano over a vocal make this song unique,i doubt this tune will be topped this year, what does everyone think.

Axwell - I Found You (Axwells Remode)

I think that's a really uninspired remix. Too close to the original (which is a good song).

On the contrary im glad it hasn't hit the mainstream clubs much as like so many other dance music tunes that go overground and get played to death, last thing you want but mind you i suppose it's only a matter of time before this tune does.

Fave Irish tune of the year:
The Japanese Popstars - Dirty Popstars on Your Radio (Deadbots Remix)

Don't like that Samim Heater at all.

Samin - Heater must be the result of some joke where one guy bet his mate he could not make the cheesiest most horrific tune ever involving an accordion and a very uninteresting baseline. I really cannot fathom why so many people like it...

Axwell's tune is nice - any other recommendations for best tune of the year?

My favourite at the moment is: Julien Jabre - Swimming Places (Sebastian Ingrosso re-edit)

I assume this is the song, very cheesy but i can see why some may like it as it is catchy albeit in a cheesy way, couldn't possibly be a contender for tune of the year though.

    Juergens - Love It

Sick listening to that Axwell tune....never off radio 1. Good track though, but hardly tune of the year.

Personal fave is maybe Make My Day by Eyerer & Chopstick or the Chem's Saturate/Electronic Battleweapon 6.

Heater is a good laugh, I can see it doing well if it gets enough radio play here.
That Julian Jabre track is much better with Pete Heller on the knobs IMO...

tune of the year so far:

Breakage - "clarendon" / "the shroud" - bravest, deepest, most original, soulful, rolling creative 12" of 2007 imo. Really encouraging to see it come out on the label it came out on as well

    Runners up:

a sides: "crabs in a bucket"

    calibre : "mr right on"

    sabre : "love is gone"

kryptic minds and leon switch : "minor nine"
