Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nothing to do with being smart and everything to do with sheer ignorance. As i said, if you don't see, hear or read the advertising on the actual WWE product. Or don't find the WWE logo on an Orig Williams poster? That's nothing to do with being smart, that's just blind ignorance.

Compare to music, Guns N Roses gig last year at the RDS, 9/10 people knew full well it wouldn't be Slash, Izzy and co with the band, the 1 person who thought there would be obviously didn't pay attention to the media or magazines covering the band. Guns N Roses were advertised, but the Use Your Illusion line-up weren't advertised. Now does that make them frauds? No it doesn't. So because you thought they would be there and they wouldn't. Who's to blame?

There is a big difference between being stupid and being ignorant, David.

There's a big difference between G'n'R fans and good parents who maybe don't know anything about wrestling but their son likes it. It's these kind of people that this event takes advantage of.

Anyway, anyone who payed 60 squid to see Guns and Roses current line-up is extremely stupid

Not really! It's not advertised as a WWE event! If the parent didn't see that poster, then the kid would see it. And even if the kid didn't see it, damned if he'd give a crap! Half of them just run around the place anyway!

Spoken like someone who never checked em out. I've seen GNR current line up and i've seen Velvet Revolver, and GNR blew VR out of the damn water live :) Given that GNR now have members from the likes of Primus, Nine Inch Nails and The Replacements. It's not like they took a bunch of goons off the street.

But this isn't exactly the forum to discuss that. :)

Dunno if it was the same people that are doing the show in City hall but one of my friends was telling me that there was wrestling in the student centre in CIT today. She is not an wrestling fan at all but she said it was complete ****e and said she'd watch WWE before that crap lol.

We had a wrestling promotion come to UCD during freshers week which was pretty funny but it was a celebrity joke gimmick thing.

I'm sure there are some people that will go and think that it's the wrestlers on TV they are going to see and yes that is f**ked up but this Orig guy is getting away with it

Well the only way he'll stop getting away with it is if people stop going to this ****e. Id just like to make a few points

1: In his ad in the waterford today, he has 'wrestling direct from the USA'
Despite the fact that the only person from the US on the show is Brody Steele

2: Again in the waterford today, he states 'WRESTLING SUPERSTARS - AS SEEN ON TELEVISION!'
Sorry but when was the last time that Brody Steele, The Smackdown Warrior (Batista rip off), James Mason, Drew McDonald or Erin Angel on television?

3: Why the **** did he put Gangrel on the posters for this show (the waterford one anyway) when Gangrel aint even ****ing booked?
