Dell Latitude D620 RAM Upgrade

I have dell D620 laptop with a 1gb SO-DIMM. Not sure about the channel configuration but if I lash a 2gb SO-DIMM into the spare slot will it be ok? E.g. total 3 GB RAM?

Depends, it might or might not. I have a D820 with 2db ram ( 2x1 gb ). Give dell a quick email / call.
