Can anyone recommend a freeware JPEG processing library or SDK in C/C++ or even just API in a windows DLL?
i just need to optimise and resize jpeg images from a digital camera for a small application.
    many thanks

Wouldn't that mean you'd have to redistribute Photoshop with your application, though?

yep, i hadn't looked into the PS SDK enough when i asked the question.

I found a suitable library called the GFL SDK
its free, and should do what i need.
