check out www.acura.com then the tsx its the 2008 acura, ie the european accord,,, they even have a type s acura.!
its identical to the european accord..

so it seems like europe wont see a new accord, until at least 2009.. not 2008 as other people mentioned..

honda are testing the 2009 acura tsx , ( 2009 accord) at the minute...

The new Accord is due in 2008 alright. Check this out:
    http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/210451/honda_accord.html

Acura only launched the current Euro Accord model in 2004 afaik which was launched over here in early 2003 so they are about 12 months behind Europe in that respect. Acura might be mainly rebadged Hondas but they are competing in the US market only so when they launch a new model it doesn't always give an accurate indication as to what Honda Europe or Honda Japan do.

About 2months ago, I was driving through Castlebar when I seen a new Acura TSX parked just off main street with covers over the bumper, wings, like they do when they are road testing new cars(eg spy shots you would mainly see on websites etc), but they want to hide the details.

It was an Acura TSX it was definitely been test driven here, can’t remember the registration plate but it had factory stickers on the windscreen and the likes.

I thought it was quite unusual to see this in Ireland.
