Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

At long last... only a few hours to go. I was wondering though, does anyone know which shop is sellling it cheapest? Dont want to head to gamestop tonight only to find out hmv were cheaper.

Supposedly Xtra Vision will be cheapest but they are waiting to see what everyone else is charging before announcing price.

Yes but remember that they determin how much a game is worth, and it in no way reflects what they offer for the games.
If you have BioShock they will give you a straight swap for halo.

Just remember, when you trade a game the developer doesn't get paid.

Yeah they do, The stock has already been bought by the retailers so therefore the developer has already been paid once per copy, thats really all they deserve.

not when companies like Gamestop create a revenue stream based purely on Trade in's.

I have no problem with sharing, its a natural thing for humans, however if GameStop can take intellectual property thats been paid for and then re-sell it for a higher price without paying the original author... thats ... whats it called again... piracy no?

What about second hand cars, dvds, furniture etc?

Went down to xtravision with gears and lost planet and the two games offer poster was gone, queued for ten minutes, explained to the guy and he rings head office and eventually decides it still stands. Then he scans the games and comes up with 35 euro. I asked could I give a fiver to make the difference but no all I could do is trade them against halo and it would only cost me 25! Not a chance, I'll try again with graw or lego star wars 2.
