In fairness, it was widely expected (even by VR i'd presume, deep down) that Jericho was going to show up tonight, so it was no surprise. I thought it was a very good promo though.

I genuinely didn't think they'd do it tonight and save it for the 15 year special. Promo was scripted and watered down to sh*t though. Jericho is f*cked unless they let him roll his own.

I have to say, while not accustomed to using wrestling terms, I was marking out like crazy when I saw Jericho, I liked the promo, a bit of life and energy, unlike the monotone ****e I've seen over the last few months. If anything ruined it, it was the crowd.... ****

For his entrance, i'd well believe it. But the crowd gaps between promos was silly. WWE wouldn't even have any reason to water it down for TV as HHH hadn't been seen for the guts of an hour on the programming, so it's not like he was a threat.

I think it could have been done better. Taking down the guy with the flame and then doing the stance was a bit weak. Would have prefered it if the guy with the flame had made it into the building, and looked like he was about to come out, but instead of him coming out, the lights went out. then some strobe lighting for effect and BANG lights come on, Jericho returns!

I'm not so sure if it's to do with the audience changing. I think they dragged it out too long. 3 PPV's came and went and RAW after RAW of being teased with those videos. It's kinda hard to keep intrigue going during that amount of time.
