My father-in-law was asking my advise about a metal sawhorse he saw on eBay. Unfortunately it costs ~29 euro to ship from Germany (for a 16 euro item) so I discouraged him from buying it.

Where in Ireland/UK can we look for a similar sawhorse?
Lidl recently had a chain saw on special. The photo for the item showed the chain saw being used on a log that was on a sawhorse. Unfortunately the sawhorse was not being sold.

Thats not a typical sawhorse, most sawhorses for carpentry have level tops.
That one looks like a firewood holder.
Have you tried an agricultural shop?

If he can't make one, he would be safer not trying to use one:D

Can you recommend one in Killarney or Dublin areas?

I have wondered why he wouldn't make one - he certainly has the tools to turn wood and do some welding.
