DownTownSounds is proud to present the debut Irish appearance of Rong Music maverick MUDD aka Londoner Paul Murphy. His recently released ‘Claremont 56’ LP on the brilliant New York label has been making waves amongst the nu-disco cognoscenti. It veers from downbeat balearic gems to full on twisted disco belters and his DJ sets do much the same…..

Rong Music was formed in 2003 by San Fran DJ Ben Cook and New Yorker DJ Spun. Having already released material by nu-disco royalty like Prins Thomas, Daniel Wang and Rub’n’Tug, their recent label retrospective ‘This Is Rong Music’ has been garnering acclaim from all angles. We think the world is about to wake up to the fact that when it’s RONG, it’s oh so right…..
