Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know Is there any way I can tell is a Nokia 6310 is
    on US frequencies (850MHz/1900MHz) ?
My friend bought one from china via ebay,
    and getting no signal.
Not sure if it's faulty or a US phone.

    TIA,
    Ray.

Doesn't it usually give the core specs under the battery by the IMEI?

    Normally a European 6310 should be tri-band - ie 900/1800/1900Mhz.

A US one would be 850/1900Mhz, which could explain the lack of signal.

However a word of warning: there are alot of dodgy 6310s in China, so it could be faulty or just a heap of junk.

I know someone that bought 15 samples and they all had copy internal boards and were totally rubbish.

the seller has now agreed to accept it back..
Took ages to convince him there was a genuine fault (or US GSM)

    Thanks for the help all.

Ther's a 6310, 6310i & 6310e. Basically same phones but on different frequencies for different markets. If you posted software version (*#0000) you can tell straight away what frequency.
