Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We have a game in hand!!!

Plus we play Drogs which is a six pointer. So, we in roughly same position as you lot only with small bit worse off in goal diff.

even if drogs lose matches it still means the chasing clubs have to win more or less all there remaining games and i cant honestly see any of the chasing teams put together that sort of run.

Ehh games in hand are worthless unless you win them, i reckon we will beat you down there but we have to outscore you :D

More than him altho it would be easy to blame him, we play 4 attacking midfielders and our defensive midfielder at right back.

Just read RTE's report on the Bray v Rovers match. http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2007/1002/braywanderers.html

Apparently goalkeeper Barry Murphy got send off for handling outside the box in order to stop an own goal! Four minutes later & Robbie Shields decides to retaliate under the referee's nose.

Talk about pressing the self-destruct button.

The sun always shines in Cork.

The next 2 weeks will tell an awful lot. I dont think City will win it, but as mentioned, will have a major say in where it goes. If we can win our next 3 games - home to Shams, away to UCD and Bray, it puts us in the picture, but there will still be too much to do. Having said that, we go away to Drogs and beat them, who knows? We have a decent league record up there afterall.

No arguing that point, but the question is not over those players, but over Paul Doolin. Does he have it in him to keep the nerves at bay for the others?

Cork available at 11/10 for their match with Rovers on Friday night! Free money available surely. Rovers with plenty of injuries and now with a couple of suspensions on top of that. Not to mention this will be their 2nd away game in 3 days.
