I was trying to convey as much to you, not that he was just full of ****,
but that you would really not agree with him if you had interpreted the text int he way he wanted it to be interpreted. What he is angling at in the book is in no way compatible with the richard dawkins style view of religion, or viewing the world, or most things.

It had something to do with cannibalism ! i think
Was t he had reached a state where he could control his primal side ( richard parker) and now the island was that state , if he stayed at this state he knew he would die so he must press on ???????????? any ideas anyone ??????
