    Is anyone following what going on @ bmezine? It's having a soap dramaish day with one of the owners claiming to have been locked out of the site and all his other sites add in claims of assault, deleting all messages of support for him and it's been pretty interesting to follow. Anyways all info here. I'm really hoping this doesn't effect bme too much cuz I love my daily helping of modblog.

    While I'd support the founder of the site over his ex-wife (regardless of who owns what percentage of it) I hope they just sort it out discretely because I really don't care about their personal lives, and it was kind of lame to involve the whole community in the first place.

    Edit: I guess it won't make sense to anyone just tuning in because all the modblog posts got deleted...

    I can't believe they are being so childish about the whole situation,
    Whatever gripe they have against Jon, doe they really need to be so petty about it by deleting his contributions to the site?

    It just lowers my opinion of who actually runs the site the way they have to act like this.

    Shannon and John's posts were deleted and all the messages supporting Shannon on the myspace were deleted too. I'm happy enough as long as modblog continues at the same quality.

    dunno whats going on really, theyre keeping everyone in the dark, and IAM is down as we speak...suspicious

    FFS imo the modified scene would not be what it is today with out shannons influnece for better or for worse. I hope everything clears up

    the server is going on and off line each time, not good
    yeah shannons influence (for better or worse) has brought modern body piercing to the fore front, theres gonna be a new issue for bizarre magazine with bme members etc. on it

    I don't really want to know what's going on in their personal lives either, but I think Shannon posted it up the other day, so people would know what's happening if stuff just started to fail. His Iam page isn't just gone down, it's been suspended, usually people can choose to take a break from iam and that's the message that'll appear if you try and get onto their page but if you try and get onto his, "This page appears to be suspended. Usually this is due to a TOS violation." and I don't think he would of done that himself. Bit messed up considering the amount of work and effort he's put into everything over the years.

    IAM (which includes the question system) is down, modblog isn't being updated but.... http://www.bodytwo.com , the only domain/aspect of bme in Shannons control, has a new version of modblog with a few entries. Shannon seems to be looking for people with idea/ business plans/ hosting plans/ tech ability which I'm guessing is to rebuild IAM. I'd hate to see bme split into two seperate versions with two different owners. But still content wise/ support wise Shannons clearly on top and will most likely be followed by the main contributors to the site.

    Tis good that they sorted all this out, well for the most part anyway and that IAM is back up. But it really shouldn't have been so personal

    On one point rachel is the main stake holder in bme I think she is near 100% share as well being the ceo. Shannon is just the face of bme. Not to take away from shannon I don't want to see any of this going on but obviously something bad has happened. Which in imo should of been sorted out in private.

    Shannon's got a new modblog @ http://www.bodytwo.comand he updates it as regularly as he used to update the bme one. Apparently IAM isn't fully functional and bme modblog hasn't been updated in ages so I wouldn't really consider it sorted out.
