buy and sell- for that price anyway. A mate got an omega from N4 autos recently and yer man seemed very genuine.

    Know what you're looking for?

Not interested in buy for sell as will want guarantee, have seen plenty within my budget, just thought other people could recommend somewhere for me. Would prefer Japanese car.

You'll have to be very careful about guarantees for a €3k car cos you may not get one and if you do, it could be very basic and be 2/3 mths and even still- they are likely to bodge guarantee repairs.

A guarantee on a €3k car from a dealer isn't worth a sh*te usually so if i were you, I'd find a good mechanic, find a good car privately and save some money.

That's just me though- but what would I know?

As *cantdecide* said, pay a mechanic 50 euro and you have more chances of getting a good car at a reasonable price, then going the dealer route as the 3 months warranthy is only engine and gearbox, and even that is limited.

Thanks for advice. Managed get motor. Ford Escort for 2.5k, low milage, and 6 month gaurantee. Was only offering me 300 for my car which was laughable, as just had serviced and new tyres, break pads put on. So keep old car, and will try and sell in buy and sell. Will get new car checked over by one of my best friends cousin whos a mechanic down the country.
