    A Subaru?

Legacy or Impreza, Tribeca, Outback, Forester?

OK, does anyone know of a specialist subaru breaker? none of the 'ordinary' breakers could even tell me where to start looking.

(ps, it's a N/A 2.5 legacy '98 manual saloon but since we've successfully fitted a replacement Impreza WRX diff to it, albeit in worse condition than original I'm open to suggestion as to what model it comes from)

A friend of mine has a 330BHP (to the rear wheels) Impreza and the diff wasnt able for the power so he is gettin one built by a specialist think its in cork somewhere for 1,000E. I'll find out exactly where your man is and post his details

Any joy finding Lecagy bits? I've just bought a 97 4cam and I need cv joints for it. Phil Kirwan in Duncormick rebuilt the dif on this one a while ago - give him a bell if you are still looking.

Hey OP - give these guys a shout. The folk on scoobynet recommended them.

Nice one interceptor, I didn't look too hard cos it looks that the whine that i thought was from the diff is probably from a wheel bearing ( ) so it looks like the original will be ok when it gets a couple of new seals.

I also thought this was going to be a pain in the arse to get a diff. I tried to get one for an Audi in the past and failed miserably, so i sat down and emailed every likely looking breaker on ebay, expecting no replies. But EVERY one of them replied with a suitable part, bar one or two....
