Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ok here's an update.
Not sure what I did wrong or even if I did something wrong but I managed to corrupt one of my partitions.
It worked for a while then after a reboot I was unable to access it.
Tried to repair it in windows but couldn't.

    Oh well. :(

ntfs-3g is quite stable at this stage. I've used it for the past 8+ months and have had no problems with it at all.

I managed to lose one of my NTFS partitions once too during a botched linux install... amazingly windows chkdsk brought it back
Might be worth a shot if you don't have an alternative plan of action.

I have also used this ntfs-3g for the last 6 months to access my vista partition without any problems - maybe you were just unlucky!

Ubuntu 7.10 (Gutsy) safely writes to ntfs.
