    Evenin all,

Just finished reading the TPB of Ultimate Marvel team up.

In it, the Ultimate Fantastic Four are portrayed very much like their original marvel counterparts- reed has grey hair, they own loads of patents and a company etc- in contrast to the ultimate ff comic.

Does anyone know if the Ultimate team up series was out of continuity? Or is it explained? Or was this just a rush job for someone new to appear in the universe?

Little sloppy of Bendis if so :)

I always saw UMT as a "OMG what were we thinking" screwup form Marvel thats been retconed out at this point. While everything in the Ultimate Universe was ment to be in continuity the amount of missed deadlines have screwed that idea up :)

The art in the Iron man crossover certainly looks like a poor rush job...

As far as I can remember. The UMT is in cntinuity except for the Fantastic four epiosde as they completely reworked the team for their own book.
The hulk going mental and the met with wolverine and iron man are all commented on in other books at later dates.
