''Channel 4's sister station E4 will be broadcasting an experimental Big Brother in January around the date Celebrity Big Brother would have originally aired. No official information has yet to be released regarding what the series will entail, but Julian Bellamy has said that E4 will broadcast "something very different and experimental with Big Brother in the New Year,". Among the rumours are a second Teen Big Brother, an Allstar Big Brother and a Big Brother incorporating the rules and format of Big Brother USA in order to reinvent the shows image as a competitive, strategic and gameplay orientated competition. Many also believe ideas that are successful in BBX will be adapted into Big Brother 9 in the summer. The lack of interest in Big Brother 8 has caused many fans to question the show's longevity and many would welcome a reformat of the game and the rules''
