    I know they are mushrooms, but I've never seen anything like them! Do they grow at home? I've only ever seen 'normal' mushrooms at home...

    Could be shaggy ink caps , some are edible , some are edible but do bad ( as in not fun) things if you drink after them .

    I just checked the shaggy ink caps out online, looks like you're right! I'd no intentions of eating them anyway....
    I still think they look mad though!
