It sounds overloaded with treble and raspy and i have tried tweaking the tone as much as i can but to no avail. is there some other device i need to buy?? maybe a preamp?? anybody know any paticular item i need and if so what model??? all help is appreciated

you need to buy a microphone and stick in it front of your amp.
