    I don't know why I left this so long.

    2-3 years ago I heard on the radio that the government was going to give local authorities 1Mill each to develop a skate-park or other meeting place aimed at the teens of the area, since the west is mind-numbingly boring.

    Portumna was listed as one of the 20 or so towns to receive the grant, but what happened to the money?
