help! mbox to garage band fr mac!!

    hey i have garageband and need to hook my mbox to it
    it dosent regonise it when i put it in
    it is mbox 1 and is usb
    really need help this

    do you have protools installed on the machine? my mbox only shows up on machines with protools installed,suppose it needs a driver or somewhat..
