Short Film being made in Laois

    Hethwheel Pictures are shooting their latest short, "DEADWEED" between October 26th and 29th. This film will be shot on DV in Kildare and Laois. The majority of the shooting takes place at a single location in Ballyroan, Co. Laois.

    We are currently seeking an enthusiastic person,from the Laois area with a keen interest in filmmaking, to work on the production. The person should be confident handling a camera, tripod and a red head lighting kit. They will not be required to operate any of this equipment, just have the ability to handle it, in terms of setting up shots.

    This position would ideally suit somebody starting out in filmmaking and looking for the opportunity to gain close hand experience.

    No payment is offered, but full catering is provided on the shoot and limited transport can be arranged. A listing in the credits is guaranteed and a copy of the finished product will be provided on DVD.
