    Ned Sherrin died of throat cancer yesterday. Saturday mornings won't be the same :( RIP.

    Wow. I havent listened to him in years but used to listen on Radio 4 LW on Saturday morning.

    It hasn't been the same since before Christmas when he was taken ill.

    Responsible for bringing satire to TV. Frostie and everything since. We should be thankful.

    A tribute show on Radio 4 tonight at 6:30pm.

    His Saturday morning review Loose Ends was once de-rigur listening in our house, even if it meant having to grimace through some very bad Richard Stilgoe "comedy" songs. :) Hav'nt heard it in many moons due to competition from 5 Live
