Some good news. I've won a new car in a draw :D I don't need it however, and there's no cash alternative.

    Any suggestions?

Talk to the garage that supplied it. They will proably give you some money instead. Not as much as the car's worth though.

I'd better not say what it is. Yet. Might proove embarrassing :o

I certainly don't need it, so may talk to the dealer, or may even defer it for 2008 delivery followed by a rapid private sale?

Somebody suggested it'd make c. 90% of retail price?

Sell it unregistered for about €1500 - €2000 less than the RRP.

A bit optimistic. Can you still pick the colour, etc.? If you pre-advertise it and have registration postponed till '08 you might stand a chance

Oh forgot - you lucky bastud! :D

Hey! I drive a Hyundai Trajet. Nothing embarrassing about it! (except for its inability to accelerate  )

    I'll bet it's a Smart car. :D

Nothing wrong with an Aygo for free. Especially when you have no need for it and you can sell it (get the money and not be seen in it...)

    Check out Carzone http://www.carzone.ie/usedcars/index.cfm?fuseaction=search&maxrows=100&MakeID=31&xMakeID=31&ModelID=1527&xModelID=1527&Year=&xYear=&submit=Find+cars+%3E%3E

Few Aygos ay-going for around the 11-12 grand mark with a bit of mileage. You should make a fair few quid out of it (unless the ticket for the draw cos you 13 grand)

Henry - Toyota Aygo is an absolutely smashing little motor. One of the finest Toyota produce...and I'm no Toyota fan. If I was forced at gunpoint to buy a Toyota it'd be up there above the Avensis and Auris for sure....oh and that skip they call the Corolla!! :D

Sounds to me like you could do 2 things. First thing...if you don't really need the money and know someone needy look at donating it. You would feel like a king giving a brand new car like this to someone (maybe old?) who needs a little run around. Food for thought anyway...the karma alone...you'll be paid back many times over!

But...if you don't know someone or do want the money then hang on for a 08 reg and advertise it in December on Carzone with details - this is a prize...brand new car...covered by Toyota warranty...and knock 3-4 grand off stealer price. Someone will bite your hand off for it!

Use it to set up a car football league like they did on Top Gear
