Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

OK this has been on the rumour mill since yesterday and seems to be confirmed tonight.
Bungie and MS are going their seperate ways. MS get to keep the Halo IP but Bungie can now develop any game they like with MS having first option on these games.
Seems that Bungie got fed up with doing just Halo games and wanted to do something new but MS wanted them to do another Halo.
Bungie have bought back their shares and name from MS and going out on there own.
    Unreal!!

It hasn't been confirmed, a rumour on GameInformer doesn't make it confirmed. Until we see Bungie or MS say it, it's not confirmed.

Having said that, there seems to be something to it, we'll see exactly what they say in the next week or so.

“There’s been no such announcement. We continue to celebrate the tremendous success of the global phenomenon that is Halo 3.”

It was pointed out on joystick that Microsoft own 100% of Bungie – it would be up to them alone to sell Bungie. Concidering recent Halo sales it's unlikely.
