Crumlin road Gaol

Heading up to Belfast on Friday for the day. My fella wants to see Crumlin road Gaol. Couldn't find much on it. I know they do guided tours on Tues and Sat. Is it possible to visit it on any other day of the week? also did the open top tour the last time, is there anything else of interest work seeing for the day?
