Advertising Rates

    Hi,

    Anyone know where I could get hold of advertising rates for different media..

    e.g. slot on Today FM
    ad in the Indo

    etc..

    probably no centralised source?

    No idea ... I've only dealt with a few papers before ...

    Try sending their contact forms online ... or give them a buzz ... they should forward it on to the advertising department ... :)

    Ideally you'd know where you want to advertise first and not just decide this is the cheapest option I'll go with that ...

    I have a few of them downloaded, they're usually somewhere on each website.

    Be aware: published rates are rarely adhered to by advertisers - you have negotiating position so use it.

    Could be down for site maintenance. It often goes down at weekends when they are updating details on the site. Should be up and running on Monday.

    Also, costs for all the media are published rate card figures, if you're intent on buying airtime, print space, etc. make sure to look for some sort of discount (especially if you're booking any kind of volume activity).
