Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Want some advice here please. Have a neighbour who has faulty alarm, keeps going off waking me up. They dont live there any more, house been sold at moment. Have been asking agency whos selling the house,to turn it off, but at 3am in morning they cant exactly help. Agency now getting pissed with me always ringing up, so now they say its not their responability, and to ask the owner of the house, I have no number for them and they agency wont give it to me. Whos responbile for getting this done. Should I go to Guards, or maybe Fingal county council. Surely there are laws regarding noise levels at night.

The Gardaí won't be able to help. Fingal Co Co would be your best bet (however good they may be). Try the Health & Safety Dept on 8906714. Mention "noise pollution", "health & safety issues", etc. The usual buzz-words that may urge them to take some action.

You could always ask the Estate Agent for the houseowner's contact details & get in touch with them directly.

Yeah thanks for that. My wife is going to ask somebody from Fingal as where she works she deals with them sometimes. I asked the estate agency for number and they refused, thats why I am so annoyed about this, I understand customer confidential and all that, but I offered my number to pass on to them so they could ring me but they refused.

Would any of the other householders in the vicinity have their number?
