Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Renewing Live Sub with prepaid instead of CC

    My cc in live expired recently and I just updated my details with new expiry date and csv no. (3 digits on back of your card). Gold sub. is due to expire this week so should autorenew now no problem. However, as a test I tried to buy some MS points, and got a card verification error. Rang MS who said details look fine and try again later as could be server. Anyway, I am wondering if I renew with a prepaid card instead will MS go off an charge my ccard when they get their systems working properly. Or will they see I have already renewed my sub and not bother. No idea why card is not working as just bought something with it from Komplett today, so it's definitely not my card.

    I have added in a card for an additional month that I had just before it was due to be taken from my credit card last year and the payment was taken from the card a month later as usual. It should just take the pre paid card OK and then not bother taking from your credit.

    I have had 3 calls with MS today now and I learned 2 things :

    1. They have no idea why my credit card is failing authorisation...have reentered details on live on 360, and also on billing.microsoft.com, plus recovered my gamer tag multiple times.

    2. If you renew with a prepaid card, you HAVE to ring them to tell them not to autorenew with your credit card, but you MUST have a valid credit card linked to your live account for ID purposes.
