Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Netstumbler Adapter Not Recognized

So I downloaded Netsumbler but in the bottom corner its flashing 'No Wireless Adapter Found'. I'm using a Linksys WAG54GS router and the SSID isn't being broadcast. It's using channel 6 and is WPA encrypted. I'm not sure if that matters to Netstumbler but I can't see anything on Netsumbler! Any ideas?

    Thanks

Netstumbler won't work with every wireless card. What make and model is your card?

Well It's not a card. I have a ethernet connection to a Linksys WAG54GS wifi router. So should I just wait for that to be suported or is it only cards and not routers that are supported?

You can wait, but you'll be waiting a long time. Netstumbler is aimed at cards, not routers. What did you want to do with it?

Just play around with you know, look for hotspots etc. Also the PSP was giving me trouble with the wifi connection but I've just gotten it fixed anyway. Ah well, I'll wait to get a laptop after xmas.:)
