ah yes, the good old parking around kevin street, i cant give out exact locations, but if you look hard enough you can find parking spaces near/in some of the housing areas near kevin street, you would have to walk for a couple of mins, but it'd be just as close as stephen's green

There is free parking around Kevin St. I'd tell you where the spots are, but then I'd have to kill you.

Theres a big multi-storey car park (About 1400 spaces) between DIT Kevin St and DIT Aungier St, completely free for students of the college, you just swipe your student card to get in and its completely secure and great.

    Haaaaahahaha yeah right

Leave the car at home and get the bus, it's cheaper.

There's no cheap parking in the city centre for gods sake, unless you park in one of the estates near it. Then again, you don't want to do that in case your alloys get stolen, do you??
The city is divided into five tariff zones and the tariff will be displayed on the Pay and Display Machines within each zone. The tariff is displayed on the pay & display machines within each zone.

Maximum parking time is 3 hours

    Payment times:

Check Pay & Display machines or street signage.

    Usually 7am - 7pm Monday to Saturday

2pm to 6pm Sunday (city centre only)

After 8pm you may pay for up to 3 hours parking for the following morning.

    Parking tariffs in Dublin City

    Zone 1 €2.50 per hour
This is the middle of the city centre, where there's a very high demand on spaces.
The area includes any area between Fitzwilliam Place south of city to Parnell St north of city taking in Merrion Square, Stephen's Green, Aungier St, Abbey St, and the Quays.

    Car Parks: Dublin (South)
    Car Park Location
    RDS Ballsbridge Ballsbridge
Point Theatre - Dublin Docks Dublin Docks
Royal College of Surgeons At the back of the St Stephens Green Shopping Centre
Stephens Green At the back of the St Stephens Green Shopping Centre
Trinity Street Opposite Central Bank, just off Dame Street
Setanta Under the Kilkenny Design Shop on Nassau Street.
    Brown Thomas Clarendon Street
Thomas Street Oliver Bond Street, just off Thomas Street.
Ushers Quay Behind the Statoil Station on Ushers Quay (South Quays)
    Temple Bar Off Westmoreland St
    Drury Street Off Georges St
    Christchurch Off Lord Edward St
    Dawson Street Molesworth St
Ushers Car Park 15 - 21 Ushers Quay

Those are a list of car parks and on street parking on the southside. And the tariff for on street parking. You wanted real info, you got it. It'd be cheaper to get the bus, or train, or luas, or you could walk?
