Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I'm just after registering my XBox 360 on the XBox site. The console was bought just under 3 weeks ago (completely forgot to register it until this evening), but with a manufacture of August 2007.

But after entering my serial number and completing the warranty registration form, i'm seeing the following on the 'Manage Your Warranty' page.
    # Device: Xbox360 Hardware
    # Serial Number: XXXXXXXXXXXX
    # Warranty Status: In Warranty
    # Warranty Type: Standard
    # Warranty Start:
    # Warranty Expiration: 5/15/2008 7:59:59 PM
Where's it pulling this expiration date of the 15th May 2008 out of - and should it not also be showing a warranty start date?!

the dates of the warranty expiration is the date of manufacture.
I'm not sure if that true or not as my manufacture date is August 2006, yet my expiration date is May 2008.

And you can bet your ass i'm phoning Microsoft this evening to sort this out. I still have my receipt.

Well.. typical me putting things on the long finger, i just followed it up with Microsoft now.

He gave me a reference number, and an e-mail address and i've to send them on a digital photograph (i presume he meant "scan" :D) of my receipt and they'll update the warranty status.
