Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

From the BBC description the two goals sound exactly the same; long punt from Robinson, flick on from Berbatov and finish by Keane?

    Pretty much.

If you are willing to pay, www.tvandsportstreams.com isn't half bad. Although it ain't as good as it used to be, you get to watch pretty much every game. Very good stuff, watching the Spurs Liverpool game myself.

ok fair enough, thanks lads. Might go for it for next week! Im finding the P2P ones less and less reliable, i guess more people are jumping on the bandwagon watching or something..

Elano is seriously unbelievable. Another free kicks seals another three points.

That's pretty impressive. I think the entire world is about to put in into their FF team. Let's just hope they can keep a clean sheet :)

Jesus christ, the ref in the Spurs game is doing everything he can go give it to Liverpool.

"Will Sven-Göran Eriksson restore his reputation? It’s all about his signings. Having lost two key men in Joey Barton and Sylvain Distin, the squad he inherited was nowhere near good enough. He needs six of his eight buys to work out. Eight foreigners, at a cost of £40 million, in a couple of crazy weeks: what a massive gamble. I guarantee that every one is massively overpriced.

Eriksson just doesn’t know the British market well enough. You can see it all backfiring. If only a couple of the buys prove up to the task, City will finish bottom.

    Predicted finish: 18th"

The ever correct Tony Cascarino a few weeks ago in the Times. HA!

Robinson very lucky boy. He spilled it again only for Dawson was there to lash it away for him this time

Riise once again wastes possession in search for the glory goal. If he had knocked that back across the box, it could well be equal.

    liverpool level 1-1

Lucky result imo for Liverpool, really didn't deserve a draw from their performance. Still a poor result, means they are now behind United even if they win their game in hand. Enjoyable game though :)

Torres saved the team from a serious blasting just there...

How did Given score an OG?

    No idea, sorry

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

My guess is he would have had to save a shot that was going wide, but he deflected it in. Like when it hits the post, then comes back out, hits the goalie in the back as he's diviing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Apparently it was a shot from Arteta that deflected off Smith and left Given flatfooted. Well so say BBC. Not sure how it's an OG.

To Aquos76, it was never 2-2 between Newcastle and Everton.

Newcastle went 3-1 up before they scored.

    Good old reliable internet :p

One more point re. this weekend:

    Arsenal 3-2 Sunderland
    Blackburn 2-1 Birmingham
    Bolton 0-1 Chelsea
    Fulham 0-2 Portsmouth
    Liverpool 2-2 Tottenham
    Man City 3-1 Middlesbrough
    Newcastle 3-2 Everton
    Reading 1-0 Derby

I can understand the 4 Uefa Cup teams needing the break, and the 2 games already chosen for live broadcast...why did Arsenal play today? And why were Man City at home the same weekend as ManYoo (forcing the change to Sunday I presume)?

Two games on Saturday, just not right...:(

And City have three home games in a row, they won't have played an away game from the 22nd of September until the 27th of October. Weird to have such a strange mix-up of fixtures so early in the season.
