@Shane, would you by any chance have some spare 8mms. I REALLY wanna fire the Garand with ammo in it!!!

not a bother Andrew was going pm ya as i tought you might be stuck ,
Ive loads as my 8mm mooseberg has been out of action for so long and ive fallin in love with my new 6mm version so ill be using that in its stead even when i do fix the 8mm.

That Garand looks nothing short of fantastic, cant wait to see it,

I'm close to my FULL Airborne kit, but not close enough to being able to skirmish with it. Also I dont want to turn up with a half-baked/finished loadout. Only having the one clip means I couldnt skimish the M1 yet. And I dont have the means to carry modern gear around with the Airborne kit I do have.

I dp hope to have it fully finished very soon though, and will probably buy a Thompson aswell for practicallity sake, because I dont think I could skirmish with the M1 all the time.

ya cant do that!, sure if we ever do get ww2 games sorted the garand shouldnt be outgunned. Its to cool to leave on the wall methinks.

Oh no, no, I dont mean the Garand is staying on the wall. Hells No. I WILL skirmish it. But what I mean is it is gas operated so on really cold days, lets face it I probably wont get much use out of it. The Thompson would be a back up.

I fully intend to skirmish the M1, I just need to pick up a few(should read Alot) of extra clips. Id be too worried I'd loose just the one I have.

I should hope the next time I'm down I will be ready for my first C-47 jump into action.:)

i realy do have a craving for some nam/ww2 games i know what guns ill be using for it but dont know which impression to replicate first

Yea the trenchs def brought it to a different level. It was one long game but worth ever min of it. The game was nice and fluid, you just did not know what was around the next tree. Teams mixed up all over the place, the amount of bbs fired off in the last 5 min was massive.
