Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is a SA-13 SAM taking out a F-18 Hornet from the film
    "Behind emeny lines"

Anyone know what the crack is with the warhead? It seems to shoot metal
bars into the target, before slicing through the fuselage without exploding. What kind of missile would do that?

Twould seem that some sams use different things. Some use continuous rods, some explosives and some fragmentation.

If you like, I can move the thread over to the Military forum. They might be able to shed some light on the matter.
