Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My HD is whirring for 2 seconds then resuming. My whole environment freezes and then resumes after the 2 seconds. This happens every 20min. I think my hard drive is about to fail...
I want to back everything up onto another hard drive. Normally I'd just back up the important files but this time I just want something handier. I don't want to go back and re-install everything...

Does norton ghost back up everything, as in if I use it then take out the old hard drive will it just work like as if nothing happened?

Act fast. Sounds like a failure alright. I was asked to fix a friend's PC recently. Hard drive was also on the way out. Wasn't spinning up long enough at all. Threw it in the freezer for a few hours [in a air-tight bag] and put it back in. It lasted long enough for me to get the documents. I was using Acronis True Image, similar to Norton Ghost.

You might be luckier than me as you've picked up on this early. Try ghosting the entire drive if you can. I found True Image froze as the hard drive spun down. Fingers crossed.
