cleaning a moderator

    how would you go about cleaning a moderator is it straight forward, it must be like i cnat see the need to drop it into a shop?? any ref material greatly appreciated!!

    It's actually quite simple. For Parker Hale mods, unscrew the top of the mod, slowly remove the "buffers" within and clean one by one. Then clean the mod tube. Replace by going in reverse.

    Compressed air and or compressed air with water.
    Things are different here in the states however.
    Once a moderator (suppressor or can in these parts) is taken apart each piece can be considered a moderator. Laws in the US of A...
    If you don’t have the tax stamp-$200 for each one hard times will follow should you be checked.
